Our personal favourite at Shopaholics is Chanel Spring- Summer 2010 Pre collection.

Men have long been known to fight off one another for their territory and women, well you won’t be surprise to find the fairer species “fighting” to  owe a piece of this series collection (who doesn’t know about chanel longggg waiting list)

Edgy and  avant garde,each of the design warrants special attention of its own.  You will feel like a princess downed in any of this collection’s accessories (of course without the “princess air and attitude”; p)

We weren't kidding when we said Chanel starts every new trend, and by new, we meant nail as well! By now, some of us would either own or tried a (or a few!!) bottle(s) of Chanel nail colour in 'Particuliere -505' and 'Nouvelle Vague - 527'. However, for the majority, it will prove a task to get hold of no.527 given it was a limited edition and was sold out even before it was displayed on the counter after being seen on Lily Allen. This is number 505, and was sold out a couple of times across London when it first came out. Due to it's popularity and how practical the colour is, it has since joined the permanent collection and is now available at any Chanel cosmetic counter or boutiques. For anyone who have not tried this colour before, go try it, it goes with anything and you can wear it formal or informal, it's gorgeous!

This is no.527, the one that got sold out, before it was even placed out on the counter! Lily Allen wore this to one of the Chanel fashion runway show and immediately after, everyone went crazy for this colour. We say, it is a great summer colour!

Just a little more for eye feasting....as with no.527, no.537 is a limited edition too.

Now presenting our favourite is the nail varnish from BUTTER LONDON! This is the chosen nail varnish brand of the 2010 London Fashion week! Having tried one, we knew why! The best way to spot a trend is to look at the latest runway collection. Given that runways are always 6 months ahead, you will expect similar designs popping all over high street shops, from H&M, Zara, MNG to Charles and Keith in the subsequent few months.

The latest Chanel cruise 2011 is a breath of fresh air to the dark Paris Shanghai collection for pre-fall 2010. The entire collection is a mixture of pretty pastel maxi dresses, nude colour satchels, white girly lacey dresses and obi belts, everything that makes you want to rekindle with your girly inner self.

This season, we see the revival of the bucket bag, from Alexander Wang to Louis Vuitton, designer houses have came up with their version of the perfect summer bucket bag. However, we also love the good old vintage Chanel from one of the girl's hand me downs from the 80's! Vintage is the new black!

Why do we covet them? For starters, they are practical to use daily, and they look great with shorts and gladiator sandals, the answer to cool chic summer outfit for our sunny island!

We are opening some concierge purchases for Chanel bags (subject to availability in the stores as well). Procurement will be done in the months of July and October.All concierge purchases will come with original receipt (or copies of receipt if there are multiple purchases in one receipt). We will also bring back boxes for Chanel Classic bags and ensured proper QC done, by only purchasing bags with fresh stock. (No display pieces unless specifically requested for).
