After a long day at work, most people would just chill out at home, meet up with friends for dinner, "plonk" themselves right in front of the tube and watch programmes after programmes, well for L, I choose to be "trigger happy" --> MY MOUSE!! Random surfing of blogs, online websites, blogshop, well you get the drift, just website hopping and happy to do some online shopping.

Some days I would be surfing for skin care tips, fashion, clothing, accessories, bags, you know the usual girl stuff. Today, I happen to be in the "bag" mode, So surf through quite a number of bags, and decided to share some of my top favourite picks.  ;-)

Then I came across this website. It was so cutesy and girly.. Che Che... The name rings a bell.. then I realise that they have their first flagship in Mandarin Gallery. They are all hand painted and the materials they use to paint on is known as the Glittering Canvas. Not only are the cute, each of the spring summer 2010 collection has very unqiue and interesting themes like "Make me beautiful" "Magic Moment.

In fact their bags look so whimiscal and so "Alice in Wonderland" kinda feel. Makes one dream.... SInce I do not know the name of each bag, I will name them alphabetically and come up with some wacky names myself hee. ;-)

The wind was sending howling noises whole night into our hotel room, trembling the windows at times. Shortly before, the sky broke sending downpours of gushing rain. They said that during winter in this part of the world, rain seldom occurs. Trusting trip advisors and the lonely planet, I decided against bringing any raincoats or boots. Sigh, I should have some faith in BBC weather, now I just hope the rain will stop for our sightseesing trip tomorrow morning. Nevertheless, this sudden downpour of rain inspired me to do this page about rain coat/trench coat and rain boots. I love classic items and especially for rain coat and trench coat, I would prefer to splurge on one with a timeless classic design, so it will last me longer. Below are images from burberry and aquascutum, my two favourite rain wear brands. If you like any of these items, send the Shopaholicdiaires team a mail! Our trusty spy told us that at Bicester village, Burberry and Aquascutum are currently on sale with items discounted by up to 70%. Indeed, my trusty black aquascutum raincoat cost me less than £100 when the man brought me along to Bicester village for spring break sales shopping earlier this year.

The best thing about living in a country like Singapore, where you get sunshine all year round, is that you can flaunt your pretty pedicured nails in a pair of comfortable, pretty sandals all year round. Having been residing in London for the past few years and surviving on Uggs (almost all year round), wearing pretty sandals is what I missed badly. As such, I constantly look forward to all the holidays, hoping that I can then wear these pretty sandals while sightseeing or something.

This year however, the man has chosen to holiday in the southern hemisphere and so, I am again stuck in wintery weathers and with my plimsolls and Uggs.

A few more days to the end of our holidays and I pray for good hot weather in London, so that I can finally grace my feet in sandals, and no more flipping through the closet every morning, for socks! So today, while the man is glued watching the Brazil/Netherland match, I have decided to hide out in the internet cafe, just to do some online shopping. Hahhaa...ladies, look what I found on Net-a-porter, outnet and asos.com!!!

Love each and every single pair of these! Now, I just have to figure out a way to coax the man to get me one of these as pressies...teehee!

Its the feverish world cup season and it is also the feverish hot SUMMER Season in SINGAPORE!! haha or in this small little island of us, its always hot all year round. When you step out of the office, the heat start bearing at you, and by the time you return to the office, gosh, probably some of our make may have run..

"In hot weather, applying your makeup should be as simple and comfy as putting on your favorite pair of jeans and flip-flops," says New York City makeup artist Troy Surratt and we at shopaholicdiaries TOTALLY  agree with him.  So how can we keep our makeup looking fresh and dewy, even when the weather is totally against you?

1) Prepping your all natural face
We believe in setting your face with your moisturiser and a make up base.

2) Do away with your foundation
Instead of your usual caked or liquid foudation, we will opt for a tinted moisturer follow by your pressed powder. Lighter make up is the way to go!

3) Bronze it up!!
Apply powdered bronzers just only to the certain area of the face where the sun naturally hits, at shopaholicdiaries, we would recommend the nose bridge, the cheeks and the forehead ( very lighty dusted over a the forehead tho) This will aim to give you a radiant glow and a fresh light summer makeup look.If you want you could dust a bit of shimmering powder to your shoulders and collarbone.

4) My Peepers!
For the eyes, we won't recommend much on the eyeliner and mascara, instead it is most important to keep a natural look, play around with eyeshadow, chose neutral and light colours like beige, pink. A light brown eyeliner and a tinge of mascara will do the trick and complete the look.

5) Juice it up!
Don't forget to gloss those lips of yours! Apply a high shine gloss like MAC’s Clear Gloss and you are ready to hit town! ;)

T was cleaning out her shoe closet the day before and found a few pairs of espadrilles stuck behind the back of the closet which she hasn't worn for a while, well, a couple of them…never worn before. She laughed and told me that she was glad her husband was not at home that day as that would be a disaster! It was bad enough having a closet full of clothes with a lot of them tags still on, and now shoes as well…

Anyway, I don’t blame her, as many of you may know, British summers are hardly ever predictable. One minute it could be 25 degree celsius and the next, pouring rain and single digit temperature. Hence, most sensible people would probably still be better off wearing wellies and Uggs, then risking ruining a perfectly cute pair of espadrilles, where a downpour of unexpected rain would guarantee ruining them and sending your £ down with the mud and water that ruined your sandals.

However, who said fashion has to be sensible? Especially for these modern espadrilles, under the hands of our favourite shoe designers, espadrilles, once known as ‘peasant wear’ has been transformed into this sexy summer wear which for the fashionista in many of us, it’s the must have for beaches and holidays. So ladies, I say, ‘Fashion over Function!’ right?

Our favourites this time round are from browns fashion and net-a-porter and the best bit is, some of them are actually on sale! Ask us about it! Enjoy!

T loves weddings and with so many mates getting engage recently, she has been accompanying these loved up and glowing brides to be on their hunt for the special wedding dress. What are the requirements of a perfect wedding dress?

1. It has to be drop dead gorgeous,
2. It has to make you look a stone lighter and 2 inches taller,
3. It has to have the ability to make all the females within 5m radius of you stupidly, insanely jealous and dying to be in your dress (and shoes!),
4. It has to make you look hotter than ever, but yet still retain that princessey innocent charm of a white wedding event
5. It has to make you look DROP DEAD GORGEOUS!

Amongst the various wedding dress shops/bridal store T had visited, these two are her current favourites. Coincidentally, both are spanish wedding dress specialist, and designers well known to the europeans. In T's book, Vera Wang is probably a tad over-rated as compared to Rosa Clara or Pronovias. Why? Well, the slimming effect from wearing dresses from both Rosa Clara and Pronovias is amazing, and the lace... yes the lace.... to ladies who loves laces... they do wedding dresses using amazing laces! In addition, most of their collections are probably half the price from the super over-priced Vera Wang.

Then, comparing them to our famous asian designers, where wedding dresses designs are usually focus heavily on embroideries or using elaborate sequins, ribbons, complexed multi folds etc on your dresses, Spanish designs are usually designed  with classic, simple and elegance in mind.

Without saying anymore, let us show you evidences of why we love Rosa Clara and Pronovias!

T recently had to re-decorate her flat and decided to choose the English country chic as the core theme. What she loves about the English country chic is the clever use of floral designs, resulting in a shabby yet overlay an exquisite touch to a otherwise simple theme. As such, many of her new kitchen items were purchased from Cath Kidston, the London designer, whom began her career selling vintage fabrics and wall papers but has since gain a cult following due to her clever witty re-working of the traditional English country house style.

In asia, Cath Kidston is a firm favourite with Japanese where usually they will leave the store with cart load full of everything and anything they could lay their hands on in the store! Today, we will be introducing some of her accessories items, including the latest Shopaholicdiaries team's favourite - the iphone case!

Let us know if you fancy any of these items, we will be more than happy to help you purchase it!
